.ECE Study Room Temperature Control System Upgrade

The ECE Study Hall, will be getting Temperature Control System upgraded TONIGHT from 10pm till 6am
Thursday morning. For this reason the ECE Study Hall WILL BE CLOSED. The
upgrade involves a lot of exposed wire work so, if you are in the room
between these times you will be asked to leave.

We apologize for the inconvenience and the short notice, but we hope that
this upgrade will help with the stuffiness that is experienced in the room
sometimes. There will be one other time in the coming week there further
upgrades will need to be done, but we will keep you posted with specifics
as we get them.

.National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women

Please take a moment to read and understand why we built this monument and the significance of today. We have come far in the past 27 years, but the distance is still there. Violence against women is real and constant and might be happening to someone you know, care and love. If you believe someone is being abused, put their safety first (in emergency, call 911)

LOCKER RENTALS ARE HERE

The wait is finally over. We will be starting to rent the lockers in the
ECE Study Hall (BA1120). Here’s the information you need to know:

  • Rentals are starting on Monday, October 17th @ 11:00 am in the ECE Club
Office (SFB640 – right next to the ECE Common Room)
  • Lockers are $45 for the entire year, ending April 30th, 2017. CASH ONLY!
Also please note that this is a reduced price for this year, since it’s
    already the middle of October
  • Lockers will be rented first-come-first-served. We will only be renting
one locker per person. For fairness to everyone, you must come in person
    to rent a locker!
  • The lockers are half-sized lockers, similar to those in the basement of GB.
    – The ECE Club Office will be open every day until about 5:00p.m. so you
can come rent a locker at any time.

Once again, we apologize for the lengthy delay and all appreciate your
patience with this.
